Torn Between Two Lovers..French Dip, Or Philly Cheese Steak?

Well, this is what I did! I did a ho-hum steak dinner Sunday, complete with steak, Au Gratin potatoes. corn on cob, and brownies.. YeeHah! Tonight, we get a much better treat- but what to call it? Strips of medium rare steak, baby Swiss cheese, onions and green bell peppers in Aujus beef sauce, on a fresh bakery roll.. Is it French Dip, or Philly cheese steak? I don't know, but it is good! Nuances make my ass tired.. I like what tastes good, whether it has a name or not! Look at it, think about it... What is not to like? Snobs need to be educated, as well as simple folks need to be elevated.. Good food is good food- it doesn't need a name!

It's a Philly cheese steak, I think, because French Dip has no cheese. But if it's good that's all that matters.

I call it french dip when it's sliced thinly and cheese steak when it's a chunkier piece of beef. Who knows though? Either way, yum!

Margie- French Dip here does have Swiss...
BlueV- Exactly! That's why I couldn't name it!

What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet...

Buff- but what if that is what woman said about men? Meat is meat, lol

No throw a slice of cheese on my sweetie and tell him a good joke, I call him happy!

Now I am cooking up me a nice porterhouse for our dinner! Someone sent them to me as a gift, I cannot wait, and maybe I will make some bread!

People don't usually ask me to name food - I give answers like "Judy" or "Fred" ...
There's nothing I like more than steak or roast beef sandwiches - call it whatever you like!
