Cool Food, And Neat Pictures Of Local Stuff...

It's Friday- and today has been a long "Try to look busy" Day".. My eldest son in from Kansas City, MO went down to an old church for a photog session- Check out these pictures and tell me they ain't the bomb! The Rock Cornish Game Hens were as tasty as they looked! Soaked in a marinade of sesame oil, peanut oil, ginger, honey, hot sauce, garlic, onion, soy sauce, and 5-spice- they basted and roasted to perfection! The rice was infused with soy sauce, with added fried egg, celery, onion, carrot, and spices! This wasn't the worst I've done cooking! Hope you are all doing well with your Holiday food! All the photos are by my eldest son- that's why they look better than normal...

These birds wern't sacrificed on the altar were they. That's so Old Testament.

They do look tasty and nice pics by your son.

Absolutely LOVE the black and white!

You've inspired me with the food photos - I'll be taking pics of the New Year's dinner!

Hey UncleBuff!
Glad to know your hook works well in the kitchen!! ;)

Those Cornish hens sound delicious!! If you don't see anyone in your kitchen and your food is all the sudden missing, just know you've been raided by Ninja Snow. :)

And your son's photos ALWAYS rock! He's got a true talent with his camera!!

Ake- I helped him get started with my old SLR, and he just kept going with it- Blew right past me!
marmy- He definitely was in the church for the beauty- not for a religious experience... I think over here they just use young, small chickens!
Snow- Girlfriends gone- clear field!
in_spired- Happy New Year To You! It was a busy time for you, wasn't it?
Beth- You have a standing invite! My kid brought two lenses for his camera- either one cost more than all my equipment!
Michelle- You take great pictures, just don't let Tanya use the camera...
