Viva Las Vegas! One More Week To Go....

Last night, the friends we will be meeting in Las Vegas stopped by to go over the loose agenda we have set up for the vacation. Got killer seats (3rd row!) to Mystique at Treasure Island, plan to play in at least one Texas Hold 'Em tournament, going out to the dam(Hoover) and a couple of dinners to be determined. I am calling this "Retro Vegas Trip" because we are near downtown, and expect to be there most of the time-by choice! It's been over 10 years since we've been there, and everyone assures me much has changed. Just looking forward to a week off, and a landscape with NO SNOW!!!

Sounds like fun. Enjoy!

On your way back, you could swing by Florida and visit. You can cook and we'll play Hold 'Em. I have a bunch of friends who play in tournaments, too.

I'll be counting the days for you until you leave and myself until you return!

Have fun!!! Don't forget to go to Bouchon in the Venetian. We have a Bouchon in Napa and I hear that the one in Vegas is just as wonderful.

I think you should also go to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill and have the Aged Buffalo Ribeye with Mustard-Habanero Barbecue Sauce + Cayenne-Sour Cream Onion Rings. Yum!

Finn-I think everybody plays Hold'em nowdays! If I lived in Florida, I wouldn't need vacations!
DB-Are you mad at me, or what? I'm not really sure...
Michelle-Everything at the Venetian looks pretty toney!
MT-That dish sounds appealing-Mesa is at Ceasars, right?
Snow-Literally, all the snow here has melted! I would not have believed it was possible!
Pink- Probably will eat two meals a day max! Big breakfast, early supper somewhere nice(Ihope!)
Jen-Will take pictures, still gotta learn to get them on the blog!
