An Old Memory, Jogged Into A Post!

In my senior year in high school, I only needed three classes to graduate. They had them spaced so I had to be there all day! The only out, was to have a job you had to be to in the afternoon... I had a part time job that started at 4:30PM. I had to get the employer to sign a slip saying it was OK for me to have all my classes in the morning.. By withholding the actual facts from both sides, gave me from 11:30AM until 4:30PM as personal time for an entire school year! It was Heaven! I would go and play paddleball at the local Y.M.C.A. with businessmen on their lunch hours, take a sauna, shower, and go home, ready to go to work- where I was the night desk man, and could do my homework! I have been outfoxing the "by the book" types all my life! It started even earlier than this..My friends would only shake their heads trying to figure out how I got away with the stuff I did! One of my son's was pretty good at it too...

That's why it is important to save evidence when someone doesn't follow the book and they try to cheat and get ahead.

THAT'S WHY I'VE GOT PICTURES!

Time to go jogging now.

RIGHT BY THE MAILBOX TO SEND OFF SOME COPIES OF THESE PICTURES TO THE BITCH WHO WAS INVOLVED IN HACKING MY COMPUTER!

What can I say? Eliminate and discriminate WITH EVIDENCE.

*smiles evil grin*

Have a lovely day computer peoples. It's too bad 100 of you motherfuckers can't think even 10 steps ahead of me. lol.

How many cowards does it take to gang up on one person? Hmmmm.

Better yet, does a person really have what it takes to survive in this world if they can't stand out in a crowd and only stand amongst the crowd to get their work done?

Answer:

NOPE.

I did something similar called co-op and only had to go to two classes so I was home by 10 but I had to work at lunchtime for my job so you had it better!

Hilarious stunt!

I had an arrangement with my parents that as long as my grades were good in my senior year, I got "excused notes" on days when the waves were good so I could go surfing.

But yours trumps mine, nice deal.

buffalodick said...

Jeff- Hurt no one, fulfilled all requirements! How can a 17 teen year old pull this off? :)
Chris- You had parents that understood- I was surrounded by people who were big on protocol...whole "nother school of learning... It was fun!

I'm not even going to list the things I got aways with here. I had 6 classes my Senior year because I lost a lot of credits my Freshman year. Yikes.... the memories!
A lot of my posts have been triggered by the comments I leave. This one just leaves me blushing.

I attended Catholic school for 12 straight years, then went to a Catholic college. Why did your post evoke this memory in me I have no idea. But I keep remembering my uniform. And the nuns were so strict, you couldnt get away with much. Except no panties, they didnt check;)

Sounds more fun than my high school!

Sounds like a great senior year to me!

Not me. Whenever I veered off the beaten path, I got caught. Boarding school is a whole different cup of tea. They WATCH you there. It always amazed me that Leona Huberman (from Rome, Italy) went over the wall to meet some guy and never got caught. She also taught us everything we always wanted to know about sex.

I hated high school. I got out in 3 years. I figured out how to do it the summer before high school, followed my plan, and never looked back. I've always done exactly what's best for me.

buffalodick said...

Tracey- I didn't steal or anything, I just enjoyed out smarting teachers who had thought they had seen it all...
Donna- Plaid skirts still excite me!
BlondeD- We had some good times as well as bad..
Highlander- Had my own car, 3hrs of school, and a part time job- It was a great year!
Barb- Public schools were run pretty tight back then, but my graduating class was over 450 kids! They couldn't watch us all the time!
Marjie- Sounds like me in college- made all requirements in 2 years(Associate's Degree) only two in the program did it!

I had a lot of study halls during my Senior Year - so I (ahem) forged my parents signature to grant me permission to leave the school property during study hall times. My girlfriends and I used the time to test out which fast food places in the area had the best fries.

McDonald's won.

:)

buffalodick said...

Stacy- Great minds think alike! With a 3.8 GPA, I didn't need four hours of study halls either!

Rachel said...

Ohhh I raised some hell too :) If i wanted out of class I would call my mom and tell her i was sick. She would come pick me up (I was already excused by her) and then I would tell her, "Gosh, I forgot I had a test and even though I am sick I need to be responsible and stay at school." She would leave and I had the day off :) Good times!!

Rachel said...

p.s. I think you should do more blasts from your past. Once a week at least! Please!

Uber- No one has complained to me about it..

looking back brings in all sort of memories..both good & bad.

I only needed a couple of credits, too, so I took a vocational class that required me to get a job. I already had the job so it worked out. If that happened to my daughter I think I would recommend that she get her GED and head to college instead.

buffalodick said...

Mona- That's right...
Jen- Makes sense..I could have taken summer classes and skipped senior year, but nobody told that...

Went to Catholic school. No getting out of a full day there. With all the classes I took I probably could have graduated freshman year. By senior year I was taking art, typing, tennis and pottery. Never got away with anything except forging my mother's signature. The nuns watched me like a hawk. Had a reputation I did not deserve...well, not in my opinion at least.
Never got caught...but was always a suspect. Love your "last one over the fence" analogy in one of your comments above.

buffalodick said...

Ili- Clever! I never lie..I withold information, and embellish...:)
Odat-Good for me was right! Closest thing to a low stress year for the next 40!
Romi- Indicted many times, never convicted!

smart! I just filled up my schedule with art classes and "Independent Studies" and applied for every scholarship I could find so I could go to college out of state :)

What I would do for some free time now!!
