Of Home Made Bread, Pork Roast, and Noodles..
I'm getting the hang of bread, so today I added about a cup of whole wheat flour- awful tasty! The wife loves a pork roast, fatty, spiced, and simply roasted- a Boston butt- 4 lbs.... With noodles and a home made pork gravy, it came out to be a good snowy day meal!
Our Christmas party at the lodge was cancelled, so I have a Key lime cheesecake in the freezer waiting for the next event... Gooldammer,Roy...
In the immortal words of Jimmy Buffet song: "The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful" Winter has decended!

Doc- Good day to keep the oven on, ain't it?
DogB- I'm doing cookies, or brownies next- our kitchen is cold unless I'm cooking!

Buff, pork aint a deal if your in Ireland right now LOl ALL pork and pork products have been recalled due to high levels of somethingorother in them that can cause cancer, this will ruin the pork industry over in Ireland for many many years to come.....

I'm baking all the time here, too--anything to warm up the kitchen a few degrees. Casseroles, bread, fries, pizza--if you can't cook it in the oven, I'm not making it :)
What cheek to cancel the party when you had such a fine cheese cake to bring!
The bread looks absolutely fabulous!
I remember helping my aunt make bread, I loved that smell.
Tavolini- A warm kitchen in Michigan, with the fragrance of home made bread, is one of our few winter pleasures!
Anette- It was Ok! I didn't want to drive in that weather!
Anndi- I hope you mean the bread, and not the aunt while she was baking it... HeeHeeHee..
well, I'm very willing to put you out of your misery Buff. I know it's hard to ahve that whole cheesecake just sitting in your freezer like that, so since I love you so much, I will take it off your hands. No, don't thank me! Really, it's no problem. It's a hard job but someone's gotta do it. ;)
There is nothing better than the scent of fresh baked bread!
Man Buff- I can smell popcorn and bread...you are making me suffer that all I did was a punny bake today!
Beth- I just don't know if it would travel well...
