Chicken Tenders, marinated in an Oriental sauce, grilled. Sourdough bread, buttered. Fresh corn, simmered. Brownies for dessert. Not fancy, not bad!

Dead meat goooood... Come to the dark side Luke.... The power, the incredible power... (actually protein, but how dramatic is that?)

That sounds so scrummie........ being Sunday here we almost always have a Sunday Roast.... Today I didnt a roast pork loin with crispy spuds and 3 different veg and yorkie puds.... and then a summer fruit crumble with custard....

Except Im highly alergic to pork products so I had steamed salmon filet, garden peas and corn on the cob :).....

sourdough bread is one of the reasons I have such a wide load to carry around.

Since we're headed for a vaca, all we've been eating is simple food. We were also frantically trying to use up everything in the fridge--always an interesting exercise.

queenie- Soy sauce and ginger were the main flavor prints...
UrbanV- You know me and reinvented left-overs! A fun cooking challenge! Hope your vacation is all about fun, with no leftovers!
