The Vegas Show We Attended-Mystere Cirque Du Soleil..
It started back home on line trying to score good tickets at a good price. Block of 4, best available. I had some in a pretty good location mid theater, but couldn't get an answer from the other couple soon enough-they were gone. Later, I went back on line to try and get what was left, when 4 seats in the third row, middle popped up! Somebody had cancelled, so I grabbed 'em! The show was a stunning display of acrobatic ability, color, and sound. Humor, beauty, and action went on for 1-1/2 hrs non-stop. The seats we had put us w/in 15 feet of the stage, and closer was better! No cameras allowed, but a great memory anyway!

It's awesome when stuff like that works out. Better than being in the back, and one of you stuck behind a pillar.
you were right there in the action, nice seats
I have always wanted to see Cirque....Please tell me that you did not have to endure Celine Dion
how fun! cirque du soleil is quintessential vegas to me. i've seen it a few times and it really doesn't get old. what else did you do?
Lynda- The show was the day we got there. by the time we went to bed it was 130am Vegas time, 430am MI time-up 24hrs!
DogB- The bungee cord act-well, one of the performers(girl)would come falling directly over my head, bouncing back up after coming w/in 10ft of me!
Michelle ann-If I hear her referred to as the Canadian Songbird one more time...
Pinknest-It is the older cirque show, but still rated the best one out of the five playing!More activities to follow...
I ahve to ask knowing that buddy was at some Star Trek thing in Vegas last weekend -- did you meet any Trekkies?
Sornie- From the many strangely dressed(or nearly undressed!) people I saw out there-I probably did and didn't realize it!
I have never been but hear its amazing! I think we will go for my kids bd's this month. Thanks for the great idea!!
