...Buff...you are the man. Cook and bake too. WOW!!

I love home made bread and bread pudding is wonderful. I usually make a sauce for it or I pull a frozen pack of my strawberry rhubarb sauce out. You can add fresh or frozen berries right to the pudding itself when you are making it. Experiment with what you and your wife like. I think home made whipped cream is a must to top it.

When I was a kid they always added cinnamon and raisins to bread pudding and mixed all of their old bread together for it. White, wheat, rye or what ever they had. No waste in those days. Heck they even pickled watermelon rinds. Not to go on the pudding.

Great looking loaf.

Sounds like your' 4th of July will be fun and delicious. From the picture and your description it...Buffalo,

From the picture and your description it may be that the yeast was not fresh enough and you did not knead the bread enough. Also heat and humidity play havoc with bread baking.. just like us! The bread pudding idea sounds great. Sometimes I just crumble up leftover bread, freeze and use it when I need bread crumbs... never waste! The Good Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01249986191289837440noreply@blogger.com
